Week 4 - Tuesday 14th December 2021

Hello everyone!

Last week we had another great session, we discussed all things funding and applying for additional help. If funding is something that you may need a little help with, send us an email and we are happy to help you find what is right for you, and help you fill out any forms that you need too.

This week will be talking about tactics to use and ways to get through the Christmas holidays with as few bumps in the road as humanly possible. Christmas is continually advertised as nothing but laughs and chocolate, but that isn’t necessarily true for everyone. Christmas with children is stressful, Christmas with children who have additional needs can honestly be a nightmare. We have put together a few of the things that work for us into a leaflet that will be posted online after the group session on Tuesday 14th December.

We have also done a little bit of the leg work and found some online activities for you. We will post the links shortly for you. These will be just a couple of things that are out there, but it is just a starting point for you.

Please come down and join us on Tuesday 30th November, 9:30-11:30 at The Methodist Church in Gorton. The full address and a little map can be found in the 'Where To Find Us' section of the website. All parents and carers are welcome, if for nothing else, then for the adult time and a brew.

All information discussed this week will be posted and available online before Friday 3rd December for those that can not make the in person session tomorrow.

Thank you for your continued support,

All our love and admiration,

Vicky, Dave and Sophie
